Matan Tal is an Israeli-born filmmaker whose work spans from short fiction, to desktop documentaries. His films explore themes of identity and memory, weaving poetic journeys with humor through political and social contexts. In 2019, Raindance Film Festival named him one of the Top 10 Berlin Filmmakers to Watch.
Tal holds a degree in Film Studies from Tel Aviv University and has been writing and directing short and medium-length films since 2016.
